World Poetry Day 2021 – Celebrating Womanhood

World Poetry Day is celebrated on the 21st of March every year. To commemorate this event, I will be dedicating it to the celebration of womanhood and I will be posting three poems by three women.

Poem 1

WO (nder) MAN

'It's half filled, not half empty' she clamours

_exhibiting a raging compassion and affinity

Here,

Read on the peculiarities of a darling race!

Whilst her feeble shoulders shudders from overwhelming duties

Her alluring smile is so handy with no haughty gaze

And with swaying hips

And with savoring lips

Like some good news resounding clips

Like some good books' pages flips

Lustre_ity

&

Human_ity

'Ooooze' from her like an oversprayed perfume

_chocking the repugnant 'ahhhs' depression wears around

The chambers of her heart are never shut and all stuffed with affection

She's a remarkable being who's bright

Yes, an embodiment of love and light

She's a Wo (nder) man

Poem 2

"The Sufferer"

Baby Girl, born

Soft as a Feather,

Smile so Luminous,

Blessings for Parents.

Sweet Wants with cheerful Smile,

Aww! Daddy's love Reaching Awhile,

Wheezy Laugh from a Brother nearby,

Mumma! Beat the Madden Guy.

Aching Stomach the Next,

Pimples neighbouring Dimples,

Bleeding A child in pain, Cravings is must, make me Entertain.

She became a Woman,

Tracking heart's broken in pieces,

Words Unspoken from thesis,

Beaten till it ashes.

They poke To the figures,

Both For the "have's" and "don'ts",

They indulge in the hands of your Kindness,

Once broken, will Leave everyone Lifeless.

She A Gentlewoman!

Hello to the Career!

Cheers to the Unsolved papers

"Welcome to Save the Girl-child Program

How may i help you Ma'am"

"Stand for the Girl-child

Don't let The Society Bury them"

Prophet Muhammad said: 'He, who brought up two girls properly till they grew up, he and I would come (together) (very closely) on the Day of Resurrection, and he interlaced his fingers (for explaining the point of nearness between him and that person)'.

~Mubasshira Quraishi

Poem 3

Like a whole universe, the stars, the planets and the galaxies within you, are admired by all.

Her voice is soft, calm and loving. Her essence must have been made from tender clouds.

She was lightening, captivating yet silent.

Learn to water your roots, it’s the only way you will grow. Yearn to flutter your wings, it’s the only way you will fly.

Love, what you are is not roses or dandelions or tulips in a flower vase on the window seal.

What you are, is the whole damn garden .

Wear your armor, pick up your weapon. Babe prepare for the war.

The spring has come for you. So why don’t you grow.
